Is the mock defense recorded?
With your permission, yes. Recordings are useful for reviewing how you answered specific questions and where to tighten before the real defense.
Can committee members observe the mock defense?
Yes. We are happy to invite committee members or peers as observers if that helps your prep. Most candidates run it solo and bring committee members in afterward.
