What does "SDVOSB Pending" mean?

"SDVOSB Pending" means Subthesis has an active application for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certification, and the application hasn't been approved yet. Subthesis isn't SDVOSB-certified today.

What SDVOSB is

SDVOSB is a federal certification for small businesses owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans. The U.S. Small Business Administration handles it through its Veteran Small Business Certification program, called VetCert.

Once a business is certified, federal agencies can set aside contracts for it, and it can compete through set-asides, sole-source awards, and competitive bids.

Where things stand

  • The application is with the SBA for review.
  • Subthesis will update the Veterans page with an active certification number once it's approved.
  • Until then, "SDVOSB Pending" across the site reflects the active application, not a completed certification.

Does it affect you?
